Along with the African Giant, fellow Nigerian, Wizkid will be joining the stage. Fresh Island Week is bringing 2 of the top 5 most-streamed Afrobeats artists to Croatia.
Fivio Foreign is the rising New York rapper behind the hit Big Drip. Brooklyn Drill music has been heating up for the last year or so, with names like Pop Smoke and Sheff G and surging into popularity off the high-paced and menacing sound of the city. Utilizing beats and styles from U.K. Drill, yet re-imagined with East Coast flair, there’s a lot of room to be unique in your own right. In comes Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign, who’s been gaining traction since last August with his infectious song “Big Drip.” Since his debut, he’s worked with Rich the Kid, Tory Lanez and Meek Mill among others. Fresh Island Week will be organizing a “Tribute to Pop Smoke” featuring Fivio Foreign to honor the late Pop Smoke who was supposed to perform on a Fresh Island Week 2020.
